'Brick & Basil Pizzeria started with one goal: to share genuine Neapolitan pizza with Naples. Launched by the Bianchi family in 1987, our pizzeria began as a cozy, family-led spot built on recipes passed down through the years.
Luca Bianchi, our founder, mastered the craft of pizza during travels throughout Italy, training with seasoned pizzaiolos in Naples—the cradle of pizza. After returning to the UK, the mission was to recreate the spirit of real Italian pizza using time-tested techniques and top-quality ingredients.
What first opened as a humble 12-seat pizzeria has become a cherished neighborhood staple, yet our dedication to excellence and authenticity remains unchanged. We still rely on wood-fired baking, mix our dough fresh each day, and source the finest ingredients available.
Today, 'Brick & Basil Pizzeria is still family-run, with the second generation of the Bianchi family guiding our enthusiastic team. While we've adopted select modern touches, our core purpose endures: making flavorful, authentic pizza that brings people together.
